Web 2.0 Applications Awards

Nowaday there are bundles of utilities, tools, applications delivered everyday on the web, but we have no idea what works, what's really worth and as one said time is money, so it came the Webware 100 Awards program organized by

for their Community users and readers voted for its best Web 2.0 (is as a set of principles and practices that tie together a veritable solar system of sites that demonstrate some or all of those principles, at a varying distance from that core) applications. - Community; DeviantArt is a service to host the users created Art.



- Data; Bittorrent.



- Media; UstreamTV is a broadcasting network.



- Mobile; SoonR shares files, talk with your Skype buddies on mobile phone for free.



- Publishing; Vox is a social network and blogging tool.



- Office Tools; Zoho is a kind of MS Office online but it's 10 times better. It is my favorites Web 2.0 applications of all.

Free Databases For Learning

Yeah, Believe it or not: IBM, Oracle and Microsoft offer their Databases Management System for free. Is it their New Way to Advertise their products and get known on the market? :=) Who care ? Just download it And Learn...

IBM offers DB2 9 Express-C Free to develop, deploy, distibute:no limit.



Oracle Corp. provides it Database XE 10g to those who need a free starter database for training, delpoyement and developpment with Open source application.


And the last one is Microsoft SQL server 2005 Express, it's included the reporting services for the creation of your intercative reports.
